Education and Faith Formation

The Education and Faith Formation Ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth and nourishment through the study of God's word, prayer and discernment for people of all ages. This takes place in Sunday School classrooms, worship services, service projects, personal meditation , small group meetings, and in our homes.

Opportunities: Sunday Church School (for all ages!), Adult Education, Bible Study, Book discussion Group, and service projects.

The OLYMPICS are coming to

CRLC Sunday School this fall!



We will continue with our Olympic theme throughout Sunday school.  Join us at 9:15am for the fun as we keep our O
ympic torch lit!  We will send our prayers heaven bound as we begin our exercises in training, practice and discipline while always keeping our eyes on the prize!

 

          


YAC (Youth and Christ)

Our High School youth are meeting with Paul Travaglianti at random times via text and in person.  Please contact him if you would like to recieve emails and texts.

 Confirmation

Confirmation resumes this fall on September 19th @ 9:15 am

in the Confirmation room, Room #7,  for 7th and 8th graders.

Pastor Randy will be teaching these initial sessions. In addition, there will be some other sessions as well. Parents will be made aware of all of this. If you have any questions, contact Pastor Randy.

LEARN, LOVE, LAUGH

Women's Monthly Bible Study

This class meets on the first Wednesday morning of the month at 10am and first Thursday evening at 7pm of the month (usually) from September through May.  All women are welcome!

                   

                    October 6th at 10am                           October 7th at 7pm

                    November 3rd at 10am                       November 4th at 7pm


We will be discussing the book Bad Girls of the Bible by Barbara J. Essex at our monthly meetings.  For October please read Chapter 2, Lot's Wife: Homicide or Suicide? and come ready to join in the discussion.  Books are available in the office and cost $17.  Please stop in and take a copy, mark the sign up sheet that you have your copy, and leave cash or check (paybe to CRLC/mark Ladies Bible Study in the memo line) in the envelope. A zoom session will be offered on Wednesday morning.

CRLC's Faithful Readers

This book discussion group usually meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 AM in Chapelview Room.  If you want to bring a snack and a drink for yourself, please feel free to do so.  Please contact Kathie Brusk if you have questions, book suggestions, or would like to participate.

CRLC Library

The library is in the Chapel View Room on the upper level at the rear of the building. Take the hall past the offices and around to the back. The library books are all neatly arranged on shelves in the room that’s used most often for meetings and study groups.

The shelves are marked so visitors can easily find a book to read and there’s no need to “sign out” a book or present a library card; just take what interests you and bring it back when you’ve finished.  (If you can remember where you found it, you can even reshelf it for someone else to borrow.)
